History of Oldswinford Youth Football Club

Oldswinford Youth was formed at the end of the 1992/93 season when 2 teams broke away from Wychbury Dragons.

The Club had immediate success with the U12’s gaining promotion to the 1st division. This success had the effect of attracting players who also enjoyed the friendly way the Club was run.

The following years saw the Club continue to grow and by the season 2001/02 we were running with 12 teams playing league football either in the Stourbridge Youth League or the Stourport Boys League plus several more younger squads being coached.

The following 2 seasons saw us link up with Cradley Town Football Club but things didn’t quite work out as we had hoped so the season 2004/05 saw us flying under the banner of Oldswinford Youth once more.

The Club continues to run with lads from Under 7’s to 17’s and is renowned for being one of the biggest and friendliest clubs in the area.
